The TX2R is our newest dual purpose seat for the NA/NB Miata. The seat bottom was designed for maximum headroom and can be adjusted for various drivers with our unique mounting system. The bottom cushion removes easily and the video below shows how legroom can be adjusted. A sub belt slot can be added to the bottom cushion and cover.

The pricing listed is for TWO seats, including the mounting brackets needed for installation in an NA or NB. The broomstick test pictures are from the non-reclining TX2 seat previously available which used a similar bottom and brackets so the height would be the same.

Exactly what I needed to fit in my NB2!

This seat does the job: gets me in the car enough to not slouch to see my dash or stoplights, and gets me under the rollbar for broomstick tests.

I love how they look like they belong in the car.

Install was simple. I had to take a few minutes to fread more

Perfect seat for my NB

I bought this seat from Mark (Marrad) and it fits in my NB exactly how it was promised. I opted for the cloth and really like how it looks (I'm not a big fan of leather seats in any vehicle).

No modifications to the inside of my car were necessary, at read moreall. The supplied mounting brackets, screws, and template worked perfectly with the stock mounting points. I was able to remove the seat belt buckle from my stock seat and bolt it directly on to the new seat. The entire installation took 10 minutes. It was so easy. The fact the the seat is adjustable forward and back with the slider screws and it also reclines is a blessing. I was able to set it up in the perfect driving position.

I'm 6'1" and 200 lbs, and my body fits in the seat perfectly. The side bolsters hug me just right to not be uncomfortable and hold me in place during hard cornering.

With the seat bottom in place, the top of my head is a good 3" lower than when I sit in the stock seat. I'm using a hard dog M2 sport roll bar, and thankfully, the seat back comes up high enough to protect the back of my head from hitting the roll bar if, God forbid, I am rear ended (unlike riding in the stock seat where my head was higher than the seat back and if I tipped my head back, it would contact the roll bar).

While the bottom seat cushion is removable and I can comfortably sit on the floor of my Miata with the seat back and bolsters still holding me, it is not necessary for me to do this to beat the broom handle test. When I sit in the seat with the bottom cushion in place and a helmet on, the top of my helmet is approx. 2" below the broom handle.

I can't express how happy I am with this seat! This is the third seat I've purchased in my mission to find a suitable replacement for the stock seat that would get me on the track without having to rip apart the inside of my car. Before finding Marrad, I had purchased a Sparco Sprint and a Momo Start racing seat, which I immediatly turned around and sold because they would not fit in my NB without heavy modification to the inside... and I'm certain even if I got them into the car, I still would not have sat low enough to beat the broom handle test. This TX2R seat did everything I wanted and more. So far, it is the beat purchase I have made for my little blue buddy and recommend it 100%.
